Announcement: First EVER EWG Beauty Box Alert!

By: Ariana Palmieri
Attention green beauty fanatics – I was recently informed Environmental Working Group (EWG) is going to be selling their first ever beauty box, filled with EWG verified beauty goodies! If you don’t know what EWG is, be sure to check out their site. They are dedicated to finding the best, non-toxic,  chemical-free, natural products around, whether it be sunscreen or mascara. They’re also famous for creating the Dirty Dozen, a list of the most pesticide ridden fruits and veggies each year. So if you’re excited for this beauty box, check out the details below! Update: To check out my review of this box (yes, I got my hands on it), go here.

EWG recently released their very own seal called EWG Verified, similar to the USDA organic seal, to mark whether a product passes their values. They rate products on a score from 1-9 (?), 1 being the best, safest score, while 9 being the worst (with the most harmful chemicals and ingredients). In this beauty box, costumers will receive only the best products that have the EWG Verified seal of approval (talk about sweet?). Here’s a sneak peak at what’s in the box, according to their link:

Biossance™ THE REVITALIZER
Cocoon Apothecary Rosey Cheeks Facial Cream
isoi Bulgarian Rose MoisturiZIP
MyChelle Refining Sugar Cleanser
Silk Theraputics C Advance Anti-Aging Intensive Serum, Lemongrass
Silk Theraputics Nurture+, Silk+E Balanced Hydration
W3LL PEOPLE Bio Bronzer Stick
Limited-edition EWG “Beauty Made Healthy” cotton make-up pouch
Plus FIVE discount coupons to help you purchase your favorite EWG VERIFIED™ products!

If these sound like products you’d enjoy, be sure to check this link out to secure your box! Also, subscribe to their email list so you receive notifications like these immediately in the future. According to their website, supplies are EXTREMELY limited, so if you’re interested in securing your box, I’d suggest doing it ASAP! You are required to make a donate of at least $65 or more, but every penny goes to funding their research, since they’re a nonprofit business. Also, they do not ship outside of North America, so fair warning! I am not an affiliate with them and make no profit off any purchase you may or may not make with this box. Rather, I wholeheartedly support EWG, admire their values, and hope you all will too!
