Did you know only 5-6% of plastic is recycled? Plastic is being found in our lungs, blood stream, placentas and feces. At this workshop, you’ll learn handy tips and tricks to avoid single-use plastic and where to shop on Staten Island for the best plastic-free finds. Together we’ll brainstorm ways to create a more circular economy and reduce waste individually as well as collectively.
